Courtney Smith Goodrich ’93 ’95M
Courtney Smith Goodrich has played an integral role in the field of technology, not only at UD, but also across the state and the region. In her role as global technology chief and strategy and programs officer with JPMorgan Chase & Co, Courtney has been essential to the launch and success of the company’s Innovation Center on campus. In her position, she leads JPMorgan’s global technology strategic programs and business management. She also sponsors the company’s University Collaborations program, working with select universities to transform the way technologists are trained and to drive innovation in university education and financial technology.
Her career has been focused on the field of technology, with a scope of experience spanning multiple financial businesses including the investment bank, private bank, treasury and security services and the firm’s internal corporate businesses. In 2013, Courtney received the Alumni Award of Excellence from UD’s Lerner College of Business and Economics, where she earned both her bachelor’s degree in business management and her master’s degree in public administration. She has written about technology, innovation, and opportunity and has been a featured speaker at events including the 2017 Women@Forbes Under 30: MIT Solve Takeover, DelawareBio’s 2017 Inspiring Women in STEM Conference, and the 2016 Pennsylvania Conference for Women.
